well more strength in the quads is nice but once they gain mass you're pretty much screwed because it's a bad ratio of lifting strength to bulk gained so it doesn't work out very well :(

the solar plexus is like my favorite thing

guys generally don't go en pointe because as the "male" in a pas de deux or other formation they do "male" things like beats, jumps, and turns because most men aren't flexible joint-wise. since i don't have any restrictive cartilage or synovial fluid in any of my joints (ouch) and i'm too bendy for my own good i tend to play the more lyrical role and focus on the lines that the body can make through flexibility, and since i play the female role more often than not i am able to go en pointe quite well even though my instep isn't the best due to a rigorous case of os trigonum (but i can wing my feet very well so that makes up for it aesthetically)

    it's hard work, man x(

i always love hearing about the different form of martial arts, i used to do bagua for my developpes and it definitely helped a great deal until i my quads were bulking more than my psoases and that was the end of that :(

what kind of movements do you do in your arts?

there's a terrible stage band for the hockey games but people are so musically illiterate i would vomit uncontrollably all over myself if i didn't myself back at every waking moment. that's not even coming from someone with musical standards as i, it's coming from the general public
the "president" of it will be graduating after next semester and after that i will be running the thing and will actually TEACH so that they don't sound
    so
    damn
    terribly

i love the overman nonsense but descartes never really tickled my fancy just because of his whole 'proof that god exists' thing haha

you should do ballet too x)

oh god, ballet is practically the only thing that i "have" after attending a school with no music program x( i want to compose them when i'm only and it's definitely very satisfying being the most flexible in the company at my college when i'm a boy x)

that is the purpose of ballet! defy physics, defy gravity (which according to nietzsche is the devil xD)

yeah i'm definitely not the best teacher. i always just have to assume that they're pronouncing things right because i mostly just listen for the undertones to make sure that they're saying things from the proper areas of the throat, oops.

songs or pieces? i don't really listen to much other than classical, except for the off-and-on indulgence in pop punk because i like the standard chord progression (and all dat sick teenage angst really speaks to me, yo yo yo) x)

i find myself using a lot of french lately but that's just to describe my movement to generic people that i teach yoga/ballet to on the side and they have no idea what i'm talking about as of yet so it's become more of a "do what i do" kind of game

i was in charge of teaching a german exchange student english my sophomore year and she had SO MANY of those bears from haribo. i kept all of the wrappers and use them as an exercise for when i tutor in german, haha xD

you're not boring at all! i just feel like we both covered those subjects completely, haha.

english is my primary but aside from the generic musical markup languages i know french/russian from ballet terminology and german because GERMANY IS AWESOME.
