Scyther used BODYSLAM!
Charmander flinched!

...Body Slam causes paralysis, not flinching.

I think that is very much a negligible and blissful error. I mean, the same goes to Double kick - where it supposed to hit twice only, right? But it's a good thing that this "error" is there - you get to kill those mean pink evil fat blob faster - and also, think, if Body Slam cause paralysis, how are you going to cure your paralysed Pokemon when we do not have items? :(

If it's an error that should be fixed, let's fix Double kick too and let us all QQ because it takes too long to kill a Blissey :3

Double kick isn't related to the question. The answer is because they would have totally reinvent the game with in-battle items

Isn't Thunder Wave in the game?

This belongs to Moves Section & it is not an error.
Body Slam makes pokemon to flinch or paralyse it doesn't matter. After all nobody uses Body Slam.

Battle Effect:
A full-body slam that may cause paralysis.
Secondary Effect:
May induce paralysis.

It doesn't say Flinch ever.

From FAQ:
- Body Slam * 30% chance of Paralyzing the opponent.
But I don't think Paralysis exists in TPPC, so it causing flinchong

ShinyLickilicky used THUNDERWAVE!
ShinyUmbreon's status was changed!

I tested and it does NOT make him paralyzed, but only makes him very very slow. (My lv 200 could outrun the 1300)

Thunderwave has the effect of helping you to go before your opponent, not paralyzing them in tppc. Since paralysis doesn't actually exist, body slam cant cause it. D:

I think flinching kind of makes up for not being able to paralyze them with that move, and since moves have been argued like this before: This isn't the gameboy games, this is tppc. So some things are different.

in the real pokemon game i have caused pokemon to flinch with body slam before..... it s just a very slim chance of it getting fliched..... so it is possibel to make a pokemon flinch with body slam

No offense this is getting ridiculous this isn a gameboy game. AS I Said B4, they would have to reinvent the game. Have you ever noticed in serebii, that dark pokemon don't exist (except for in movies)
