Need help

I've just beaten the champion and am in the resort area and am not sure what i should do should i complete the pokedex or something like that? Cause i cant seem to go anywhere beyond that area except the towers where challenges are taken. Need help....

2 train at survival area
3 battle frontier
4 go against elite four
5 upgrade villa
6 pokemon contest
