I've seen it.
The end is quite......stupid and fail.
But I'm not going to ruin the whole movie for you just by tellling you the ending! :P

I definitely wouldn't say the end was stupid or fail... in a really twisted way, it was an interesting ending.

Stephen King's book was better and it didn't have a twisted ending, just a mysterious ending. If you don't like very depressing endings, I suggest you don't finish it. : P

That's what I was gonna ask: Is the movie similar to the book?

Well, I guess I can finish it now that I've started.

Folks, that's what religion does to you. :hmm: This movie shows each side of religion very well: the extremists, the atheists, and those in the middle. I thought that was very interesting. Although, the preacher woman pissed the hell out of me quite easily.

Anyways, I must admit it was very depressing. Giving up just before it's over sucks; big time. That woman that smirked at David at the end just killed me. Yeah, I definitely liked this movie and I didn't think the ending was stupid (but it does anger me!).

The movie pretty much follows the book besides some little things not including the ending. The main character, David, I guess has an affair with that woman that takes care of his kid because he gets lonely (in the book). There's probably other things, but those were the only things I can really remember. But that preacher lady sure played her part well even though people just wish she would die.

Yeah, I guess she did. I guess I'll read the book after watching this. I don't think the movie will ruin for me.
