SO if you live in Ontario or anywhere else in Canada (I believe). White Pine is an award give to an author voted on by high school students. Kinda like Silverbirch if you heard of that.
So this Years books are:
My opinion of a couple of books are:

The Book of Micheal by Lesley Choyce: The most repetitive book you'll ever read! Doesn't real have a real plot. Not well written.

Cracked Up to Be by Courtney Summers- Highschool drama, not worth the read I would say.

Getting the Girl by Susan Juby-Hmm, its ok kinda humorous. Nothing special

Half Word by Hiromi Goto- Didn't read yet but soon will.

The Landing by John Ibbitson-Didn't read yet but soon will.

Mostly Happy by Pam Bustin- Didn't read yet but soon will.

The Perfect Cut by Julie Burtinshaw- Didn't read yet but soon will.

Sister Wife by Shelley Hrdlitschka- Didn't read yet but soon will.

The Uninvited by Tim Wynne Jones- Pretty good novel, creppy good kinda of way

Wondrous Strange by Lesley Livingston- Kinda like all the fairy tale books you ever read put together somewhat. Easy to figure out what's going on

Basically if you enjoy reading book with almost no depth read these novels. They are poorly wirtten compared to others I have read, and their plot is crappy. Anyway, Thats my opinion on these novels Care to share if you read them.

Unfortunately, dumb high school students far outweight the smart ones.

I love these new white pine books! I've read 8 of them and so far my favourite is either The Perfect Cut or Wondrous Strange. Still have to read the Landing and Uninvited.
