Possible SS Anne Error?
So yesterday, I reached 20.1k wins on the SS Anne, which was much more than the margin of around 16.8k I needed to win the GoldenGenesect prize. I checked the SS Anne standings at roughly 11:50 PM TPPC time yesterday, and saw that I still had a pretty big lead over the second place finisher, who had 33 wins. When the TPPC clock struck midnight, I found a ShinyFoongus in my box instead of Genesect.
At first, I thought it may have been someone who wanted to prevent me from getting the golden prize for whatever odd reason. However, while holding a contest for the ShinyFoongus prize I won ( http://forums.tppc.info/showthread.php?t=608680), I noticed other people complaining about similar instances where the SS Anne gave them regular prizes instead of a GoldenGenesect.
I was wondering whether there is possibly a problem with the SS Anne's prize system or if someone actually did prevent us from our potential Genesect wins. Thanks!

I think still the migration thing of the new server, no one tried SS Anne during that time because the SS Anne wins still at 38kish. If you do not waste your time again, try Shrimpy to fix it first.

That makes sense. Unlike the other people though, we still got some prizes. Maybe it’s just the Genesect script that isn’t working.

At 23:50 check near the end of ss Anne. Instead of at some random time. Try 23:58 or 23:59 next time o.o

Look, if you’re gonna troll, this isn’t the place to do it. I checked your box when you posted the first time and you didn’t have a ShinyDwebble in there.

sold it. sry. Like I said. If you're going for golden genesect make sure you go above the second place by a decent margin. Try 30k next time.

I guess it isn't an error, the margin is still the same.

I feel like this might also have been a problem involving the new server. Not entirely sure though.

I’m not saying that it’s impossible, I just feel like it’s unlikely that’s the case. I checked the standings ten minutes before midnight as well as the standings for other days, and nobody else seemed to have put up numbers large enough to win. There also seem to be several other players who’ve experienced this issue, which is why I think it might not be a problem that’s specific to me.

Welcome to the world of getting sniped. I’d never suggest submitting before 11:58. You don’t want people to see your score and just cut you out of the margin. Someone probably submitted a score inbetween the time you checked and the time it finished. Be careful there’s some snakes out there :/
