Extra info/Pokemon:
*Chimchar, Chatot, Turtwig and Piplup can be encountered in a red-outlined yellow box saying "Look out! A wild Pokemon has attacked you!"

*Regiquest Pokemon (eg Baltoy, Sableye) still exist (apparently).

*Shiny/Dark Unowns can be found by attaching Alph Glyph to your starter and wondering around Caverns of Alph.

*Owning all Shiny/Dark/normal Unown forms can lead to obtaining Darkrai through 'The Unown' part of the RPG.

*Azelf, Uxie, Mesprit, Deoxys, and Heatran can be obtained by attaching the item obtained by turning in 5 Million Team Points and attaching to the starter.

*Giratina was made to be transformed into Origin Forme by picking up a Griseous Orb whilst clicking around Caverns of Alph then battling a Giratina.

*Shaymin [hedgehog form] can be obtained by attaching Gracidea to starter, and clicking round maps. It's obtained the same way as Chimchar etc

*Articuno, Moltres and Zapdos can be obtained by having 10 Ruby, Emerald or Sapphire Fragments found on random Map Pokemon, but not often. Turn those Fragments in at the Research Lab, and hope to get a Shard. Attach the shard to the starter and click around maps. I think it's obtained the same way as Shaymin.
TIP: Catch any Unown you see, they can only hold fragments or Rough Diamonds/Pearl.

*The lake trio can lead to obtaining Dialga and Palkia, though it's quite unknown how other than through Meteor Mountain, a tower.

*Evolved Pokemon can't be obtained from maps anymore! This includes Roselia, Ariados, Raticate, Nidorina, Nidorino and Ledian, apart from those that have "baby" Pokemon, eg Wobbuffet and Pikachu

*Alot of unobs in v7.5 are now map Pokemon.

*And that's it.... other than Unown are no longer the highest-scoring Pokemon in Safari Zone - Seedots and Lotads seem the best route to high points.

TPPC Version 8.0 was released on 25th September 2010.

I'm right in saying that all evolved Map Pokemon in v7.5 are no longer available. No Raticate, Ledian or Roselia yet.
