To be honest I don't see how we can know for sure without trying it out - perhaps dealing more damage and KO'ing till death could be equally as good as dealing less damage but 'surviving' for longer? Eh maybe I was jumping the gun and its a discussion to be had at a later date & we should just try get this implemented first
On that note I'll edit the first post later on with everyones ideas so far e.g. the multiplier, suitable examples of the formulae etc.
