Also to put your shop prices in perspective, you're saying a GoldenMew would need 100 nuggets so you will need to train 10T exp. to get those 100 nuggets. Hobo's roster, which is the #1 ranked team, has a total sum of around 8T exp. That means based on the current team rankings, someone will have to train enough to take over the title of having the #1 ranked team and train an additional 2T exp. before they've trained enough to get a GoldenMew. Or simply, train a level 10,000 10 times. That's way too demanding don't you think? D: I don't train so it won't affect me either way, just giving my unbiased opinion. Also a problem with rewarding based on total experience trained rather than reaching a certain level is that unless Shrimpy has access to data on how much total experience has been trained on every account, trainers will not be credited for the training they've done to date as the total experience count would start at 0 for everyone if this update were to come out. But if that data is available then ignore that last part.

Yeah; its a B not a M. Got mixed up, pardon that.

I don't think the focus is to solely record the exp trained; but rather, but to dedicate value to high leveled Pokemon to reward trainers who own such high leveled Pokemon, bearing in mind that the trade cap is 4499. Therefore the nugget is awarded each time a high leveled Pokemon is turned in, based on the exp possessed by that Pokemon. Its not awarded based on the exp trained in person by a particular trainer. Rather, its the high-levels in possession of a trainer. This also means that 4499s and other high levels will become more valuable in terms of trading.

Numberswise, those were just arbitrary figures. Could probably be refined to something like 40 Nuggets (4T exp) for GoldenMew, 15 Nuggets for the Golden SoJs, 5 Nuggets for GoldenJangmo-o and 1 Nugget for ShinyJangmo-o :p

Oh sorry I think I misread a part of your post because I was reading your suggestion and you said this:
"The idea is to reward hardcore trainers. That's a good idea and I support it. However the fixation should not be on a magical number "10,000" itself, but more so based on the experience trained."

So I was like okay that's a nice thesis, reward trainers who put in the time in general regardless of what level their Pokemon is, by basing it on experience trained instead. And my thoughts on that was that it would be a good suggestion if experience trained on an account is already being recorded, otherwise trainers wouldn't be credited for the training they've done to date.

But I see now I misread something and that your suggestion is to actually turn in levels but instead of only being able to turn in a level 10,000, be able to turn in any level that has 100B exp. or more to get the corresponding amount of nuggets. But now what I'd point out is that this conflicts with the opening statement from the quote above where you said "The idea is to reward hardcore trainers." Because based on your numbers, a level 4642 will have 100B+ exp. and get me a nugget, so you're saying I can trade for a level 4500 which someone else put the effort to train up and only add 142 levels to it and get a nugget for it?

I think maybe a good way to go about it would be to combine your suggestion and the original suggestion by having rewards for reaching various level milestones.

For example:
5,000 => DarkHo-Oh
7,500 => DarkMew
10,000 => ShinyMew
12,500 => GoldenHo-Oh
15,000 => GoldenMew

Additionally, I think these should be one time rewards just for having a Pokemon of the specified level or above rather than turning them in. I think these should be additional incentives to train and after training so hard to end up with a really high level Pokemon, I wouldn't want to see someone lose the Pokemon they put so much time into to train up.

Different Pokemon, increases the rarity and pushes people towards starting new teams aswell

Love the idea

The idea is to jack up the value of high levels such as 4499s in the trading market so that training is "worthwhile". Whichever trainer decides to trade for a 4499 would therefore have to pay a fairly tempting amount considering how the original owner could simply train a hundred levels more and then claim the nugget, which in turn in term leads him up to a valuable reward. In that sense, there should be no direct conflicts of intent.

"Turn in"s and "milestone" rewards ultimately differ on the repetition factor. Turning in encourages trainers to train repeatedly and constantly receive rewards for it, whereas milestones are more of a "achieve and retire" kind of feature.

I get what you mean by turning in painstakingly trained 10ks would suck; but in that same vein, it makes the golden prizes truly worth a drool. More so in terms of trading, they can now potentially attract amazing offers which their 9ks or 10ks could not have due to the hard level cap of 4499.

chuk1996 09-05-2017 08:40 PM

I really like the suggestions, especially Pkcores one and Gin A's one, let me suggest this, if you submit a pokemon and gain a prize due to the level they submit, then they can't get it again in the same account e.g if Leonard wins a prize by submitting a level 5k, then next prize he can win is by submitting a level 7500 or a level 10,000, whatever the next level prize rank may be. That way, pokemon won by submitting levels will be pretty valuable, people will be motivated to train harder, and it'll be harder for a pokemon gotten this way to be hoarded or to lose value due to quantity. (I hope this suggestion does not offend anyone). In addition, I personally think that an extra prize should be rewarded to somebody that submits a level 15,000, e.g this could be an elemental stone, a special Gold, Dark or Shiny pokemon, 4 Billion pokedollars, whatever Shrimpy sees fit, and a medal of honour. Lastly, a contest could be held once every six months for each trainer that has a level 7500 or higher pokemon, number of winners could be decided by Shrimpy. I believe my suggestions can produce more zeal for training in the RPG, make training more fun and give each trainer something to work on/look forward to. Cheers.

Chuk: Legitimate suggestions should always be welcome....I don't see how they would ever be 'offensive' unless you single people out.

I like the idea of awarding a badge (you called it 'medal of honor') to trainers who manage to turn in high levels.

chuk1996 09-06-2017 07:06 AM

Thanks Gin.A :) And yh be it a badge or a medal I think it'd be a nice to do that, so that people who have the tendency might not see levelling up a pokemon as being pointless.

Wow a lot of support thank so much everyone! Really appreciate it :)

Then why not just update the current Team quest challenges to harder and more challenging quest.

For example to obtain the last quest in team magma you must have 7k fire type pokemon + turn in 5.5bill money and turn in Magmar level 2499 with the item Charcoal attached to obtain the new prize/s.

I like something like this. Training to 10k was tough and I know I'd hate to give up my 10k, even though I don't train anymore.

Chantola 05-04-2018 05:53 PM

whatever happened to this? Just curious.

DarkNeno 05-05-2018 12:59 AM

oh lol didn't saw this post, had the same idea kinda in my post :D but to turn it in?? hmm that's just hmmm, I don't think I'll train another 10k after 1 lol

PiPelarmos 05-05-2018 10:59 AM

it is stimulating

DarkNeno 05-05-2018 11:17 AM

Well you wont stimulate anyone for clicking 5 or more months to get a 10k and than to remove it lol. And lvl 10k is halfway for lvl 15k lol so a year training gone for a rare poke and to start over again with training? Meh wont stimulate me at all. Ill keep my lvl 15k instead hehe x) ;)

KingJuvie 05-05-2018 11:24 AM

10K way too high, i mean i wouldn’t wanna waste all my time and hard work on a 10K then lose all progress for a prize pokemon, they should let you keep the 10K and reward you for it, but i think they should start the prizes around 6k

Psyclone 05-07-2018 12:03 AM

Well, I am interested in this idea D:
Will at least motivate guys who still train for something good

nah you should lose it. most people wouldn't trade in a 10k. which would make the prize super rare. the way i see it, you train a 10k and you cant trade it. but you could exchange it for something rare that you could trade when you decide to. i assume for a long time this prize would be sub 10 in game. i cant imagine that many people trading in their 10k mon

Chrisssss 05-07-2018 02:23 AM

It would be awesome if each team faction has an exclusive prize you get for turning in your 10k. I agree the 10k should be submitted since it will make the prizes that much more valuable and encourages and incentives members to train for high levels more than once to get a valuable prize that might not be available in later years/versions.

DarkNeno 05-16-2018 02:49 AM

I will never trade a year work off training for a 1 of a kind reward to start over again...I rather to get a 10k roster than remove every 10k I got lol 10k roster is way much nicer to archieve than an unique pokemon. We may have rewards for the time we spend, not for losing this time. When you are a real trainer than you will see and will keep the 10k after all. Belief me that you will never trade it in when you get there...10k is half way 15k so think about that when there is a 15k reward...thats 2 years off time gone for a lvl 5 unique pokemon lol

warhammer 05-17-2018 10:33 PM

This might be a nice way to introduce mega evolution or some of the new gen pokemon

ScaNneR. 06-27-2018 05:26 AM

Rather than submitting the pokemon itself, the level should be submitted. This will keep expensive 10k pokemon secure. The level should be then reset to base one or lower as a prize.
Or simply rewards for anyone who reached 10k

I was only making a point...

lvl 10k = 1trill exp or 1000bill exp
lvl 15k = 3.5trill exp
lvl 12 700 or something = 2trill

if someone wants clearness

edit:

avarage 1000 lvl's a month for me with work and some outside things. Just saying it's not easy to give up a lvl like this for just a prize

Lord Smaug 06-29-2018 10:05 PM

no way in this world or the next will I give up my almost 15k status... nor rid the level back to base... id be happy if we get like a badge or some sort of merit stating we've accomplished such a feat.
maybe even get more team points per battle or something... but sacrificing a high level for a prize? ...yea no.. im saying that as one of the highest level trainers out there.
