possible at all to make it so that for example:
my current golden breloom 5.4k did get to 10k, notonly would i get the prize for getting to 10k, but if i have to trade it in, i get a goldenshroomish back? Or a low level breloom? Most people that overlevel things want to keep them as trophy things, but i dont wanna have to trade all i have to then get it to 10k for a prize, where as id have to do it all again with a swap in order to have not wasted all my time previously spent gtting what I overlevelled. sorry im tired and ill edit this to make more sense when i feel well. Though I like the idea. Id also like to see smaller prizes if possible for hitting smaller levels i.e 50mill cash for hitting 5k, 200mill cash for hitting 7.5k or something |
Zzshadow - I do like to keep the 10k only and the smaller levels are irrelevant because having a 10k is a huge accomplishment to be honest. And people with thrive to achieve that goal whereas if there were smaller level boundaries such as 7k , 8k and so on.
Some people might get motivated as they work up towards each awarding ranks and some won't. You also need to think about the cheaters as well. There are not enough active members of staff to look out for such thing. Therefore leaving the limit to 10k only to be honest. However prizes can be done by shrimps to whatever he wants the prizes to be. It'll deffo be something to work upto and keep the forums and rpg booming for a while. It'll also be a Big Event and to specify I mean like how golden day is , and the swarms will be. This additional feature could prevent cheaters due to staff looking at a lot of logs in the long run more often(not saying they don't). It also depends again on staff and how they'll look upon it so yeah if it's possible then it'll deffo be a fantastic idea to implement such thing because I wanna trade my 10k and I can't because no staff wants to take it. :( P.s : thanks for everyone supporting this idea thank you. |
Id love you 10k xD
And no i just meant =, as someone mentioned 'donating your 10k completely' I meant I wouldnt want to have trained to 6k with a golden breloom, for this to get implemented Because then im on my way to 10k already but ive worked hard to get a golden breloom, so i meant could that be replaced witha low level one (IF it had to be donated), I wouldnt wanna do it all again witha swap i like your idea c: |
Well that's another idea implemented within the range I was thinking.
Maybe a prize for normal 10k , Golden 10k and so on and each priZe is randomised to be honest. It will mean a lot of pokemons have been released and will take a while to obtain :/ |
Pass.
|
Haterssssss xD jk lol
|
I really like the idea
|
i also love this idea: (suggestion)
yea the prize can be a normal 10k exchange for a shiny or dark legendary that is currently unobtainable. maybe a a golden 10k can be exchange into a golden legendary that is unobtainable |
You can always swap on golden day and have a Golden 10k. Imo prize should be the same for all.
|
Definitely agree to technique.
Same prize for all!!! |
bump this thread, maybe the adm may see it.
|
would be cool if for hitting 10k you could choose a picture/gif for your trainer corner profile

Thanks everyone :) just hope shrimpy has something to work around this idea ^_^

Shouldn't it be "Obtain a level 10000," instead of "Turn in a level 10000".
"Obtain a level 10000" sounds more like you're rewarding a player for their training efforts. |
Don't think ive commented on this idea yet.
The idea is to reward hardcore trainers. That's a good idea and I support it. However the fixation should not be on a magical number "10,000" itself, but more so based on the experience trained. When a Pokemon is turned in, it should return an advanced currency known as Nuggets - for every 100B exp (floored), 1 nugget is received. So a level 5000 earns you 1 nugget, a level 6000 earns 2 nuggets, a level 9000 earns 7 nuggets and a level 10000 earns 10 nuggets, because: Code:
floor(5000^3/1E+9) = 1 For instance, Quote:

Also to put your shop prices in perspective, you're saying a GoldenMew would need 100 nuggets so you will need to train 10T exp. to get those 100 nuggets. Hobo's roster, which is the #1 ranked team, has a total sum of around 8T exp. That means based on the current team rankings, someone will have to train enough to take over the title of having the #1 ranked team and train an additional 2T exp. before they've trained enough to get a GoldenMew. Or simply, train a level 10,000 10 times. That's way too demanding don't you think? D: I don't train so it won't affect me either way, just giving my unbiased opinion. Also a problem with rewarding based on total experience trained rather than reaching a certain level is that unless Shrimpy has access to data on how much total experience has been trained on every account, trainers will not be credited for the training they've done to date as the total experience count would start at 0 for everyone if this update were to come out. But if that data is available then ignore that last part. |
Absolutely love this idea (:
