These rules can change at any point in time, so make sure you are always up to date with the rules.

Rules:
1. Link your accounts. Do not make threads if your account is not linked.
2. Do not pretend to own an account that is not yours. Do not pretend to have a Pokemon but say "it's in a hidden account". Do not put pokemon you don't have in your thread titles in order to get attention.
3. Do not beg for Pokemon. This means don't ask for freebies or 'donations'.
4. Do not spam/flood any threads. Wait 20 minutes before bumping your thread. Do not bump other people's thread as a "free bump".
5. Do not break any forums-wide or TPPC-wide rules, including but not limited to those that follow.
- Do not make threads with your title in all capital letters or including profanities.
- Do not intersite trade for things from ANY other site, and do not trade any TPPC things for real world items, money, or services. Even attempting is bannable.
- Do not post asking for values/ratings, and do not barge into threads and try to force your ratings on anyone else.
- No trading of accounts. Also, no trading of glitches/error pokemon is permitted.
- Sugarcoating an otherwise rule-breaking thread with trading doesn't make it allowed. Example: a thread stating 'JimBob is cheating hehehe' that also says 'Scyther level 5 ft' it is still not allowed.
6. Do not go wildly off-topic. The trades forum is primarily for trading, and should not turn into a bunch of debate threads or otherwise. You can talk casually, but lengthy discussions should get their own thread in Muk or other appropriate forum. If the talk amounts to nothing more than spam, it is spam, or may be considered 'free bumping' to keep the thread on top, which is not allowed.
7. No 'Newbie Restrictions' - Everybody is allowed to post in your thread. Unless somebody is doing something inappropriate at that time, they're allowed to post.
8. Do not host contests in Trades. Please use the Contests forum.
9. Do not offer to trade Pokemon that cannot be traded without a transfer. Staff will not transfer for trades. Same goes for team points; do not offer to trade them, you cannot.
10. Avoid scams. If they ask you to 'send first' without sending their own side, it is most likely a scam and you should say no! If they claim to have an account, but can't link it or give any proof its theirs, it's most likely a scam!
- Users are still responsible for verifying the trades created to them. Do not simply click 'Complete' without reviewing pokemon contained in the trade. While there is leeway here for some scams, in many cases, if you completed it, you implied your agreement to it and are responsible for it. You cannot use moderators as a way to do a trade-back when you didn't look at the pokemon offered, no longer like the trade, learned that you were ripped off, or anything like that.
- If you choose to let people train your pokemon and it gets stolen or the person gets banned, you will not receive your Pokemon back.
- The report function or visitor messages are not for you to report any scams. Send a private message to a staff member, and include all proof you have.
11. You CANNOT create trades for other peoples' pokemon that are being trained by other people/in gyms in an attempt to fool the trainer into thinking you are the owner. Do not create for any freshly trained pokemon that are not yours under any circumstances. This is scamming.
12. You are not allowed to have more than 2 threads on the front page. If you bump one while you already have two, you will have to delete one.
