There have been a good number that have had Broadway success, but as far as being commercial recording artists, nope, none top them and almost certainly never will.

Edit: Some have had some decent success (like Shadow pointed out), but yeah, not in league with Carrie, Kelly, or Chris.

Neither one will likely make exceptional recording artists, but I liked Crystal much more than Lee who is, in my opinion, just another Idol brand fake rocker. I really doubt that a girl will ever win Idol again because most of the people who vote are tweenage girls who pick the cutest guy and vote for hours on end.

This season was pretty much a snoozefest. Pants On the Ground and the Simon Tribute were the highlights of the season.

Also, moving this to Houndoom's Home Theater.

It's better this way. Crystal is WAAAAAY better (whether you think so or not, she's obviously in a different league, so, blah), but this way she's not stuck with Idol, and can go her own way.

Daughtry didn't even win, either. The only ones who have done decent were the two girls. That's why I stopped watching this show a long time ago. A lot of good singers, but nobody hire good songwriting talent.
