1. If you haven't done so already since you made your account, you should change your password and write it down.
2. Set a lockdown password and write it down.
3. Always write down your password somewhere, where you wouldn't lose it.
4. Don't give your account information out.
5. Don't account share. It will get you banned anyways.
6. When you use a public computer, make sure you log off before you leave and never have it save your password.
7. Set a difficult password.

If you did "Security Measures #1", a moderator will be able to rollback your account password to what you set it as. They are unable to reset your password to something new though. So if you didn't do the security measure or you completely forgot your password, you're out of luck.
