Avatar and the classic E.T. are definitely mine. Not only is Avatar my favorite Sci-Fi movie, but it's my overall favorite movie!

Novels - "First and Last Men/Starmaker" (Olaf Stapleton), anything by Arthur C. Clarke, Philip K. **** and Isaac Asimov(esp. "Nightfall" and "Foundation", some Robert Heinlein, Ursula K. Le Guin (esp. "The Word For World is Forest")

TV Series - Star Trek: The Next Generation & Voyager, Dr. Who, Primeval, Supernatural, Charmed.

Movies - The Dark Crystal, The Neverending Story, Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, Sunshine, Alien and A sound of Thunder.

Novels don't really belong here, do they? But if I had to choose, I'd say the Banned and Banished series and/or the Temeraire series(by Naomi Novik the latter)
