Thanks again for coming back for another year of Fantasy Football! This year we have 10 teams that will go at it week after week to win the championships and a small pile of golds. Each team had to ante in 2 golds (Dratini, Bagon, Axew) to enter into this league. Draft time was a success, 9 of 10 people showed up, talked crap, and drafted players. So without further ado, let the year begin!

The scoring breakdown is a typical PPR league (1 point per reception), with bonus points for big plays (1 extra point for TD's in these fashions: either 50+ yard run, 50+ yard pass, 50+ yard reception). And big performances too (400+ passing yards, 100+ reception yards, 100+ rushing yards).

Also, I forgot to say how the prize pool will be split up, so here is how it goes: 3rd place gets their ante back. 2nd place walks with 6 golds and 1st place walks away with 12 golden dragons.

First topic of discussion: Ayso24

The dude was banned, and thus did not let anyone know prior. His team has been drafted. He will unable to pay ante unless he gets unbanned. Lightning graciously paid on Ayso's behalf to keep the pot right but we should discuss what we are going to do with him... do we get rid of him and invite someone else? Do we allow Zidane to run his team? If I could get a hold of Ayso24 and see what's going on we could get something to work but in the meantime I'd like to hear ideas from you guys.

I say let Zidane run his team, so then there's two teams that we know won't win this year.

But what was the reason behind his banning? If he gets unbanned and can pay off the ante and/or reimburse Zidane then he should get his team back.

If I could get a hold of Ayso, I could figure those things out. At this moment, I think it's best to just plan out for the worst. I COULD try to see if someone wants to run the team he was auto drafted... but that might be a long shot

Hey I'm happy with 351 throwing yards. That means he'll find the end zone more often then not going forward. So the numbers aren't that big of a deal to me.

I'd be curious to see the stats on players during the game they are against the team they played for the previous year, I bet on average their points scored is pretty high.

You do read a lot of stories about how former players tore up their former team. Some of it has something to do with the knowledge of their gameplan. But most players are a former to another team so I bet we could read a lot about busts too.

Eh, that's tough. I don't really think Blount or Jennings is a suitable replacement. Tevin barely even plays. And Ellington isn't the starter anymore.
