Christmas Day (Dec. 25), New Year eve (Dec. 31) and New Year day (Jan. 1).

There are three chances that you can get the gold, but you can pick two of those day to get the golden. such as..

if you choose to goldenized your pokemon on Christmas and New Year eve (or on Christmas and New Year Day), then you can't goldenized on New Year day (or on New Year Eve), but there a catch if you dont goldenized on Christmas day, then you only have one chance to goldenized, neither on New Year Eve or New Year day.
