Did you ever feel emotionally attached?

As the title sort of says, did you ever feel emotionally attached to anime characters from the shows you've been watching? As in, knowing how they feel, or holding back tears at sad moments..

As for me, I have. Mainly at FullMetal Alchemist, the episodes where it centers around Maes Hughes and..what happens to him(covered up a spoiler there). I know, it may be childish and all, but I really felt sad at those points. I just wanted the episode to be over with..

So yeah, any of you had those kind of feelings?

Do you know, its never happend watching any anime... I often feel atteched to the people in deathnote book.... Its strange becase i dont feel the same when i watch it lol.
