I'm reading Go Down Together: The True, Untold Story of Bonnie and Clyde in order to round up some information for my essay, but I'm not going to get around finishing it, just skimming it.

What I'm really reading is The Dark Cipher by William Dietrich. I read the first two book in the series so far, and it reminds me a lot of Dan Brown's Robert Langdon series, except not as advanced and taking place during Napoleon's time.

The Last of the Mohicans by James Cooper which was painfully boring in the beginning. Even my AP Lit teacher told me he hated it, but it wasn't as bad as he said. It actually is a fast read, somewhat (since I just finished 100 pages today and I don't usually read that much in one day unless it's a Dan Brown or Stephen King novel). I was just having an out-of-body experience the first couple of chapters so I had no idea what was going on, but then, when I started concentrating on what I was reading, it became more interesting.
Dan Brown's novels are exceptionally advanced. His plots all takes place in one day, which is quite amazing. Reading Angels and Demons right now.
I'm pretty late at replying to this comment, but if you happen to re-read this thread like I did, then I meant that William Dietrich's novels are not as advanced and intricate as Dan Brown's. Sorry for the confusion, but yeah, Angels and Demons is one of my favorites, if not my most favorite, novel of all time.

Recently got both volumes of Karamazov Brothers for 3 Euros each. It's a 30ish year old edition (doesn't even state the date), hardcover, yellow pages due to its age and it really smells of old. Reading it was an awesome sensing experience! For such a precious gem, it was dirt cheap. But it was pretty interesting to read, definitely worth more than its age :]

I finished The Year of Living Biblically by A. J. Jacobs today. The author grew up in a pretty secular Jewish family, so doesn't know very much about religion, but he decides to spend a year attempting to live out everything in the Bible as literally as possible. It's interesting because it makes you realize how much interpretation people who appear to be following the Bible literally are using.

I'm also reading The Lost World By Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
