0/10, because some Mods are nice and accept friend requests from every suck-up that requests them, and mods already get enough foolish pms, plus they get report notifications, so a nice mod with 40-50 friends really doesnt need any more pointless notifications...
same thing for older players, who may accept noobies because they are nice, and then probably also get 5+ foolish pms asking for freebies, so they also dont need foolish notifications

this really only benefits users with less than 10 friends, at which point you should be able to just see which of your friends have posted a new thread...
