It's been comfirmed as I am typing this that the Atlanta Thrashers are transferring to the Winnipeg Jets.

Another Canadian team.. yay ;)

I can't believe it my city has a team again our own team :'( no more having to root for the shitty phoenix coyotes(well there not that bad but you see my point)

I actually wanted it to stay the way it was. I'm from Calgary and personally I think winnipeg screws up the NHL. Before there were 6 canadian teams, 3 in each conference and all in one division. Now its uneven. Plus Vancouver might have to move aswell. Not only that, but now how will hockey day in Canada work? I like winnipeg and all but I just hate seeing teams moved to different conferences or divisions.
