Mod's ruin MW2 to me. I just played a game with some guy with am M16, firing it as if it had the fire rate of a Vector. He fired it's whole mag in 5 seconds. o.o
Plus, he had a Magnum as his sidearm, and I was just amazed at how fast he shot it. I hit with a shotgun and it didn't do anything.
Lag on MW2 = Fail.

Lol..I wont be doing in on Xbox Live.I only learn the glitches so I can piss my friends off xD I had one match on Favela where me and another guy went 20+ with under five deaths camping by where they were glitching with their Emergency Airdrops.

Cool..Only other game mode besides Team Deathmatch and Mercenary Team Deathmatch is Hardcore Team Deathmatch and that was nothing but campers(which would have been bad if they were sniping but a guy with a shot gun doesnt need to be sitting on a platform in Quarry waiting for people >.> ).I might try some others tonight though.

That's a shame; it's my favourite assault rifle in the game (actually, my opinion on that changes frequently, and I also think it is an ugly gun... but, point is, it is currently my favourite to use). But, at least you made a decision about prestiging! Is it going smoothly?

Only leveled once today. My controller (sort of) broke, and because I am a quirky person, it damaged my desire to play... despite the fact that it functions perfectly fine.

Sitrep yes - Tbh, I don't know anyone who bothers with this.

As for Marathon and Lightweight...I'm on of those seriously annoying guys who sprint round the map only knifing, so for not that hard. I also use Marathon on my Barrett class as I snipe from one place then run away before the person comes back to get revenge.

Well, SitRep Pro is pretty awesome. But it will take so long that I won't bother until I'm on 10th prestige and will actually be keeping it.

Also, you use the Barrett? Disappointing =[ Marathon sniper class is a pretty interesting idea, though; I've literally never seen that.

Estate and Derail are to big for me to snipe with the Acog scop(Estate is perfect for Thermal though :] ) and with the Thermal scope white is hot.But apparently Derail has body temperature snow >.<

Not really true. You can level so fast in this game it's unreal. Also if you're good at a game why not play it a lot? It's cold outside as well.

Just re-read the last line of my last post, some serious typos in it. Guess that's what happens when you make posts early hours of the morning.

I use.

Scavenger Pro - Pro = Extra Mags
Stopping Power Pro - Pro = Extra damage on vehicles
Commando Pro - Pro = No falling damage.

Commando is quite stupid really, you can knife from an impossible distance, it's actually fustrating and the falling part, man, I jump out of some seriously high buildings, it just looks mad.

I think both Stopping Power and Commando should be removed from the game, but as long as they are in the game, they should be used.

Also, I kinda hate using the ACR, but I decided to use it in a class; One Man Army/Stopping Power Pro/Commando (I don't have pro lol, that's how little I knife), with a claymore. Going to stick the Masterkey (shotgun attachment) on it when I unlock it, for two reasons; I don't have a secondary because of OMA, and I generally love that attachment.

Level 48 btw, hence the ACR.

I love the ACR, but I find that most noobs use it. Sitting in corners with HBS, just waiting for you, and it's always with an ACR.

Another gun I can't stand has to be RPD or any LMG for that matter.

Meh, I just think it is far too easy to use... I actually feel stupid when I have it. It literally has no recoil.

Also, I love LMGs. My fave being the AUG H-BAR (standard AUG is an assault rifle, which might be why I like it so much), followed by probably the L86. I like using more difficult-to-use weapons, which is probably why I have more kills with the TAR-21 than any other weapon (followed by the Intervention). May I ask why you dislike LMGs so much?

Edit: Omg... I can't hit anything with the ACR... I must be trying to use it like a TAR or something...

As for what gun to use, try the TAR-21. If you're so used to bursts, you should be able to do fine with it at range. Use a suppressor if the sound and muzzle flash throw you off.

Its not really that.I think I just like the way it resembles the M16(or it does imo :p ).

I shoot someone three times with it and they still manage to escape alive :/ Unless you meant the UMP..Then I have to pump almost a whole mag into them to get them to die.As with the M16 I can take someone out with 3-6 bullets.9-12 if I completely suck at that point :/

The EBR kills with one shot from the chest up with Stopping Power, and the UMP kills with two bullets anywhere with Stopping Power

Positive.The little X thing came up all three shots :/ First shot was through a perfect window, second was with it cracked(the x still showed though so it might have been in the arm.He never moved though and it was aimed at his chest :/ ), and third was though the window when it was broken.

The SCAR-H is a good gun, but I don't much like using it, for some reason. I do have it in a class, with a suppressor, though. I use it on maps like Afghan, depending on the mode.

When you hit someone it should bring up a little X in your cross hairs(or whatever theyre called) showing you hit.

Finally tried out the M204 btw.I really liked it.I can only have three classes though(since I share with my brother) so I have my M16, 50.Cal(or EBR/Intervention depending on where I snipe and my mood), and another class for any gun I plan on working on.Which happens to be the F2000 now(Im kinda jumping around with these).

Im also 62 on my first prestige though :D Leveling pretty fast this time.

And I got FMJ for my M21.Now I should have to many problems with it.I figured out that I just need to double shoot to kill someone with it.I got on the ledge by the wing of the plan and just sniped.Ended up getting an Emergency Airdrop and a Care Package.Ended up with three Sentry Guns and and a Chopper Gunner and locked down the ridge on Afghan xD Ended up like 22 - 7(not exactly that but it was close).One of my better matches of the day.

Btw..There was one guy I was playing with tonight who got 4 Nukes in a row >.>

Same as you, sniping in every game. But after level 40, I tried the M16 and I liked it. I got 30 kills the first game I used it. And like an hour ago, I was at 21 killstreak with a Chopper but the score limit reached and I couldn't make it to the Nuke :(

I've had 22 nukes legit, no joke. But I would say, I have more free time than Shadowmire. So I'm bound to be pretty good, or at least I'd hope so. Nukes are honestly pretty easy to get, if you're playing with people who don't know how to shoot air support down. :D

I should have more nukes than I've gotten (still just three), but I either play in playlists where they're hard to get, play too aggressively (I tend not to be SUPER patient; getting a nuke usually involves camping, although all those nukes I explained missing were camp-free), or I just get lucked.

As for having more free time than me - that's literally impossible. You definitely play more, though. xD

Just getting a teammate into the other team with a tactical insertion, generally knifing them in a secluded place. It's generally done in the few playlists where party chat is allowed.

I don't know how people go about it on the PS3 version; I'm guessing it's similar, but I'm not overly with Sony's online service, or the difference between versions. Doesn't matter anyway, since you play on 360.

And yeah, I guess I just don't find it particularly difficult to aim for the head. I can do it easily with automatic weapons, too, but I tend to nervously shoot the body, because it's easier and I want to live, lol. I can definitely pull a headshot for every kill if I want, though; hours every day of putting BR bursts into peoples' heads on Halo 3 trained me for that. Halo is 100 times more difficult.

Ah..Well I followed him for a bit of the match and he was in the cave on Wasteland.He would go out into the trenches and kill people there.I never saw a tactical insertion placed anywhere on the map except mine(I was sniping from the houses on the outer end of the map xD ) but that doesnt mean it wasnt there :p

I really dont either but most of the time Im chasing after people and have to be quick about killing them.Although I do aim for the head when Im not spotted.

And I used to be pretty good at Halo(hadnt played it online before though) and when I finally did play it I sucked.I got used to Call of Duty and just cant beast on Halo anymore.I always wanted to get on there and beast Tom Taylor though(hes a MLG apparently) who in his videos camps and beats people from behind :/

And on a side note.I wont be on MW2 again for 2-3 weeks..Somehow my friends MW2 disc got cracked while it was in the Xbox..I was playing Campaign on Hardened, turned it off for a couple hours, went to play it again and it wouldnt work.So now Im gonna have to buy him a new one and hope he lets it come back down here .-.

Are you sure it gives stat bonuses?If so Ive never noticed it(or at least not on the stats thingy .-. ).Thats actually the sight I use on my M16 xD (Still manage to miss things though so I wouldnt call it flawless ;p ) I use it so much though it was no problem getting it.I usually have problems with the Master Key though.

Btw..A couple days ago I just realized they call M16s with grenade launchers 'M16A4 Grenade Launcher' and AK47s 'AK47 Grenadier' :/ Kinda wish they used grenadier for the M16 as well.

It doesn't show up on the stat bars (which are extremely inaccurate; for example, the FAMAS and M16A4 actually do completely identical damage). It increases the FAL's damage, for whatever reason, and it makes the M16A4's accuracy 'flawless.' Fire it at some walls and look at the pattern, if you can really call it that.

The AK-47 doesn't use the M203; I'd assume that has to do with the different names. They actually function slightly differently, too.

I personally use Ninja primarily for Ninja Pro (if you play against me, I will often know where you are, turn to your location, and shoot on sight just because I hear your footsteps), but the HBS counter is pretty useful too - especially if you play a mode like S&D, which is littered with them.

One Man Army's main use is only situational, if you ask me. I use it because you can 'change' to the class you're already using, and completely replenish your supply (re-stock your grenade launcher, get another claymore, re-fill ammo, etc.). In a way, I prefer it over Scavenger, but of course Scavenger doesn't limit you as much.

And yea, a lot of things are different in campaign. You can get weapons with three attachments (for example, the ACR in one of the early levels), the assault rifle version of the AUG, etc. Oh, and you can use stuff like the Dragunov.

Omg I just got my first Nuke! :D in Wasteland.
I camped in a corner in the place where everyone comes and I shoot 'em all when they entered the place. I had 9 kills and no bullets, I remembered I had Grenade Launcher on my Scar so I shooted one grenade, didn't do anything, the other made a double kill and I had a Chpper Gunner. I ran and hidded in a random house, I made 11 Kills with it, I took my Rangers Akimbo and made 3 kills with them and after.

Yeah man, SitRep Pro is annoying to get. Plus, you're still able to hear your own footsteps with SitRep Pro, and that's what I, and probably U3 dislike. When you're in a 1v3 situation, you need Ninja Pro, because they can hear you if you don't use it. Personally, Ninja Pro is a lot better.

Main reason Im using the 50.Cal right now is because Im bored with the other sniper rifles..Once I get bored of this one again Ill switch to a different one.

haha, the Deagle is the only handgun I use, just because it is so awesome. The .44 makes it redundant and slightly inferior as far as practicality goes (and the USP and M9 are much easier to use than both of them), but the Deagle is just amazingly wicked. I make a big deal out of it every time I use it.

Ah... yea, the BR is my absolute weapon of choice. Previously, over 50% of my kills were with it (that only changed because I played a lot of Team Snipers). I rarely use the AR, and I rarely melee. I usually swap my AR for an SMG/pretty much any power weapon. I also use the magnum tons.

Something strange I do that most people would never think of, is carrying around both a Battle Rifle and Covenant Carbine, for two reasons. One, I consider the Carbine more effective at closer ranges, and two, it allows you to switch in the middle of combat and continue firing without reloading.

Yea but that allows you to be more accurate with it and not all over the place.Plus with Stopping Power and FMJ it usually only takes 6 bullets to kill them(putting RT twice).That is assuming the first three miss.

1. I love it when people basically copy me, word for word, opinion for opinion. No, really, it flatters me (yes, I'm looking at you, Jassie).

2. The ACR is perhaps the worst gun in the game, IF you're good. On the flip side, if you're not so good, you can effortlessly hose down your foes with a recoilless, pinpoint accurate stream of bullets - and everything in this game kills quickly, even the weaker weapons. It's just a matter of what kills *faster*.

3. Jassie is completely right. The M16 with holo sight is the best gun in the game. Burst weapons excluded, that would go to... the TAR-21. Not the AK-47, but the latter is easier to use. I would say the L86, but I haven't yet determined its accuracy in comparance to the TAR-21. Their killing speed is identical.

edit: Actually, I am slightly wrong on that last point... LMGs have no damage drop off. The L86 kills with two bullets at any range, while over a certain distance the TAR requires three (with Stopping Power. Without it, change the 2s to 3s and the 3s to 4s). So there's that to think about.

To be fair, you will so not get banned for that, but uh.. just go to their profile, file complaint, choose whatever option you think is most fitting.

I think the ACR is a great gun actually, it looks lovely too with no attachments, i can't stand any gun with attachments other than silencer

Actually, the MP5k kills three times as fast, but only at close range.

edit: MP5k only kills that quickly with Rapid Fire. Oh, and I haven't played in a few days. Not getting anywhere.

I always have to have an attachment on my gun..Its usually a sight though since I cant stand most of the guns normal sights.My guns usually have a Grenade Launcher(for campers who I cant get to) and a Holo/Red dot sight.However since I got to the second prestige Ive been using my Famas and Scar with no sights.Silencer on the Famas so I can get the Heartbeat Sensor(just to say I have it) and the Grenade Launcher on my Scar(to get campers and because I have nothing better to put on it)..Ive also been using Scavenger a lot this time.I got tired of running out of ammo after 4 kills with my Scar.

I dont really have to many problems with it..Its just when I use an automatic gun and spray all over the place xD Im pretty accurate with Sniper Rifles and three round burst guns.

I started using Akimbo USP. 45s with FMJ on it today.I also got the Tac Knife and Extended Mags.I couldnt resist running around a couple maps to find out what was so fun about the Tac Knife..I found it easier to use your primary gun unless you know someones coming around a corner or something.I did however also get carried away assaulting the building on Estate with it..Which is how I got my Extended Mags :3 Probably wont be using it much anymore though.

Edit:I plan on getting everything for the other pistols as well.Its so easy on Hardcore Team Deathmatch.

I used it clear up until I unlocked the Red Dot Sight for it..Then I hated how it looked and went to a different gun..I couldnt stand using it for 60 kills >.<

And Ive been sucking the past week..I havent been able to even manage a Harrier and its difficult to even get a Care Package or Predator Missile..But regardless of that I had to take MW2 back to the video store.Gonna try to find the money to rent it in a couple days but until then its gonna be CoD4 and Halo3.

In MW2 you get to Lv70, get the required exp, and then go to Prestige Mode..All your guns and such get reset, you start back at Lv1, you get a new rank icon thingy, and you get a new Custom Class(every other prestige).

I would recommend on using Marathon and Lightweight with UMP45. They make a good combination, along with Commando Pro. This class works best in Quarry. Effective as hell :)
