regular teams

Everybody has a standard team, that they get in every game. For me, my ruby team would be blaziken, swellow, gardevoir,breloom, camerupt, and wailord. I'm wondering about everyone else.
what game is it, and what is your ususal team?

My "usual" team varies every time. Last time I completed Platinum, my team was Exeggutor, Flareon, Kingler, Machamp, Jynx and Hypno. I got my friend to trade them over as level 1 babies.

hmmm.... My usual platinum team is Infrenape, starraptor, luxray, alakazam, Giratina, and two other randoms.

Right. unless someone found an AR cheat for seven slots. But even so, that random is *almost* always a floatzel.

I hate the Sinnoh pokemon, so I never use them. Except sometimes Cherrim.

And shaymin looks like Rudolph.

and the kitsune came like a thousand years before ninetales. but regardless, i'm not trying to rag on any particular generation. lots of pokemon are based of folklore, or legends, or even bad puns. I'm just saying that just because it's not the classics doesn't make it bad.

Anyways, like I said, the only Sinnoh pokemon I use is Cherrim.

Anyways, I've done a Caterpie run before too.

Well, It's about 2:30 EST, and a new pokemon galactic battles episode just came on, (I have the TV on in the background) and I just LOL'd when everybody got toasted by rotom in the intro. XD

I only ever did half a venusaur run, but i hit level 45 by lt. surge, so it's not that bad.

Regardless, I'd rather beat a game with a full team.

Abra has higher stats than Caterpie, as does Feebas.

My Kanto team usually consists of Charizard, Pidgeot, Haunter, Alakazam, Gyarados, and Raichu just because I like 'em. Plus, they are easy to get in the beginning so they all level up at an even pace for the most part.

My Johto team usually consists of Feraligatr, Noctowl, Donphan, Umbreon, Arcanine, and Haunter. This is mainly for my Crystal game, but I used to pick Cyndaquil when I was younger. Just recently, I realized how much I like Totodile even though it has low Special Attack.

My Hoenn team generally consists of Blaziken, Swellow, Manectric, Gardevoir, Sharpedo, and Breloom. I could do without the Breloom though. Just never really cared about this region to go off and search for a dream roster.

And as for Sinnoh, I don't play those games, so I really don't know any of the Pokemon there.

Okay, for one, most pokemon get at least one stat at 300 or so. Secondly, stats aren't everything. Moves, items, natures and type diversity are factors too. Thirdly, not all your pokemon could have stats in the 300s, as not all of them get stats that high.
