1. Beg for free 1k.
2. Win it in a Contest.
If you want a hard way then try to OHKO Blisseys Gym around your level.

In-Depth guide
METHOD 1a)
1) Get a high level high attack Pokemon. (2.5k+ is good)
2) Equip it with a Attack/Fighting boost item (e.g. Scope Lens/Power boost/Elemental stone)

It should have a moveset like this
Move 1: Double Kick
Move 2: Toxic
Move 3: Dig/Fly

3) Attach an EXP share to a Pokemon you want to train.
4) Fight a suitable training gym (Blissey/Chansey) that you can defeat in 1/2/3 Double Kicks.

Good Gyms include: Rune Ristar's Gym and Scoundrel's

5) Keep killing the Pokemon in the Gym. Eventually you will have trained a level 1000. It will take a lot of effort.

METHOD 1b)
1) EXP share up a Pokemon to a decent level
2) Equip it with Elemental stone
3) Change moves to a suitable one.
4) KO Pokemon in Training gyms. This way, you will get 100% of the EXP instead of the 50% awarded by EXP share

METHOD TWO OUT OF DATE AND NO LONGER ALLOWED
1) Get a whole lot of Level 4s/ unobtainable promos on certain days and trade them for 1ks

METHOD THREE
1) On Golden Day, make Golden Pokemon and trade them. This works better if they are of a rarer gender (e.g. GoldenRiolu females are rarer) or (?) gendered, instead of a rarer one. Generally, Male Pokemon are preferred. You can Goldenise Level 5 Pokemon (worth more) if you let them faint and KO Evolva's eevee with a high level.
Trade them for 1ks.

YOU CAN KEEP GOLDEN POKEMON IN YOUR ACCOUNT AND OVER TIME THEY WILL BE WORTH MORE.
METHOD 4
1) Rip people off (Use at own risk :P). Trade for cheap Pokemon, and trade them off for more than you paid. Works best if you know what they are commonly rated. (e.g., trade a 1.3k ShinyEevee and trade it off for a 1.4k)

METHOD 5
1) Beg. This is banned.

METHOD 6
1) Win contests and trade off the Pokemon/ Claim TS point prizes

METHOD 7
1) Start a training gym and train to level 1000 Pokemon with a profit
