Are old bans from the old Trainer's Cornerlifted ? Can people who have been banned before use the forums again?

Example.

Let's say I have an account called.. 123456789.
If 123456789 got permanently banned on the old Trainer's Corner, does the ban carry over to the new forums, or does it mean I can create another account called 123456789 on THESE forums and use it like normal?

I don't think they'd be banned, since BuBBa could use his old username... :x But I'm not sure.

I thought that too. It only let him use the username though, nothing about letting him normally log on. :<
