Easy Silph Co. Strategy

[Frost]

All you need is a Level 5 Chansey.
Note: You must have 5 other level 5 or lower pokemon in your roster.

Attach Leftovers to the Chansey. (Found on Spheal from Dark Islands)

Moves:
Ice Ball
Giga Drain
Recover

Battle:
Raichu - Ice Ball
ShinyVenasaur - If your HP is below 2/3, use recover. If not, use Ice Ball.
DarkCharizard - Ice Ball, and if you have to, Recover
DarkBlastiose - Giga Drain. You may have to Recover before you KO it.
ShinyGliscor - Ice Ball. You should be able to OHKO it or KO it in 2 hits.
ShinyTorterra - Ice Ball. OHKO

This worked for me. You may not get the Silph Scope on the first try though. I've seen some people try over 20 times without getting the item. I've also seen some people get it on the first try, so it's all about luck.

Here are some other options besides using a Chansey and where they are found:
Wobbuffet (Victory Path)
Wailmer (Frozen Ruins)
Sableye
Spiritomb (Memorial Caves)
Lapras
Jigglypuff
Lickitung (Memorial Caves)

Some of these don't work as well, but they still work.

Moveset:
Ice Ball
Giga Drain

Mirror Coat

The Battle:
Raichu - Ice Ball
ShinyVenasaur - Ice Ball

DarkBlastiose - Giga Drain
ShinyGliscor - Mirror Coat
ShinyTorterra - Mirror Coat

Use Recover when your HP falls low.

The whole point of it being level 5 is for it to gain a level.
If you are in battle, your opponent's first 4 pokemon are going to be level 5. Once you beat Raichu, you will be a level 7, thus making it easier to beat the next pokemon. Once you are at ShinyGliscor, you should be at level 10 and can KO it easily. So you have to gain a level to be able to beat the Silph Co.

Yeah, but if you don't win the Silph Scope on the first try, then just get another level 5 Chansey and try again.

There's a secret strategy without wasting too many Chanseys.

1. Click on that Silph Co. link.
2. Close the tab.
3. Repeat Step 1 and 2 until you get about 25 battles.
4. By going to the Resume Battle page, battle Silph Co until you get the Scope (that works).

Chansey will still be a level 5 in the Resuming Battles.

It usually takes me a lot of tries to get the silph scope. Beating it is easy but getting the silph scope is hard but after reading this. I beat the silph co first try of the day and got the item in my first try :D Guess it's just luck lol.
