Collectively, taking all the elements put into them, they're not bad. They're not brilliant by any stretch but they're not terrible either. However, as vampire books they are considerably lacking. Go and give them a try

Wrong, sorry I read the first one and I don't know how I stomached it. I mean the writing is just sketchy and feels incomplete. Now honestly, if a person like Stieinbeck or even J.K. Rowling wrote them, they would have been okay but the person who did wirte it, (who's name I didn't bother to remember) just has no talent whatsoever. Although it get's to teenage girls who will eat any crap that's thrown at their face, I couldn't stand it. The books had no substance, the characters were at best poorly made, there were loose ends and overall the writing was just God awful. I don't know how people read it because I can't.

True enough but the writer still has a lack of talent when the books are compared to some of the ones they are, such as Dracula. Which is a painful comparrsion.

its a decent series i started reading the first one, it was good but i just didnt like the style of it so i would recomend that you rent the 1st one from a libray and see if you like it i AM a boy and being honnest PS
