Noobie question: whats so good about doublekick?

im new here and i see everyone suggesting doublekick in their strategy guides? whats so special about double kick and about mirrorcoat?

Doublekick is the only move here that gets STAB, and it can hit up to 5 times, making it very strong. Usually, this move is used to defeat the so-called 'Blissey Gyms', which are accounts created by people that only have blisseys on it with moves like Haze or others that don't really do anything. This way, you can beat them very easily, and with Blisseys you gain lots of Experience points too because of their high HP stat.

Basically, Doublekick is the strongest move in the game at the moment.

Yes, in this game hitting 5 times except Self Destruct and Explosion which kill you.

Mirrorcoat should be self explanatory. Doublekick gets stab and can hit 5 times with a higher base power than triple kick.

[Immortality]

Counter and Mirrorrcoat > DoubleKick, but they are banned in the towers and you faint if you use them. So Doublekick is probably the best move in the game
