This was an ugly game, but Spain deserved to win IMO. The game played out like a book for Spain, just like the previous Spanish 1-0 victories: Spain dominating possession, ending with a lone goal late in the game. This goal just came a lot later than the previous ones... >_>

But on the other hand, Torres, Alonso, Iniesta(sp?) were great as well, as was Casilias. Spain played a little bit better, and Holland was down to 10 players eventually, so they won. Though that goal still has an air of offside to me.

I watched it 5 times, the goal was clearly NOT an offside, I admit Robben, the goalkeeper and Van Bronckhorst played very well, but the whole team almost all had a yellow card, they played cheap and dangerously, they didn't deserve to win it.

The goal was definitely not an offiside. I f you watch the replay you can tell he was a good several feet in front of the defender.

The final should've been Brazil vs. Germany, with Germany taking the cup.

About the offside, when the first Spanish attacker got the ball, THAT was offside and THAT was when there should have been a referee stopping the game. However, when the second Spanish attacker got the ball(iniesta) it WASN'T offside anymore, but still, there should have been a whistle.

But still. And my god Oo I've bee nreading some foreign newspapers. All yapping about an "ugly" finale. ==! WHo the heck cares about a beautiful/ugly finale. It's about winning. Not about playing beautifully.

BUT, Netherlands won on one thing! YELLOW CARDS :D
